The Tengu Bujutsu Dojo is not simply about training in self-defence. It is about the overall development of the mind and body through the practice of Kime (focus). Japanese martial arts are an excellent way to gain confidence and maturity in all things in life. To show respect to fellow human beings, even while training in potentially deadly and dangerous techniques. We practice arts passed down through generations in Japan, refined over centuries to become possibly the most effective systems, from the most dedicated warriors, the world has ever known, and as we train we can perhaps also gain some insight into the minds and hearts of warriors long past and appreciate the wisdom of their Way.
